INFINOX gold spread: 15 cents on STP, 8 cents on ECN
| Item | STP | ECN |
|---|---|---|
| Gold spread | From 15 cents | From 8 cents |
| Trading commission | None | Yes (fixed per lot) |
| Major currency pair spread | From 0.9 pips | From 0.2 pips |
※ The official site does not state the amount of the ECN commission for gold. Spreads are variable and change with market conditions and account settings.
The official site quotes the gold spread in cents, not pips. A cent is one hundredth of a dollar. The official site does not explain how to convert it to pips, so check the display on your trading platform.
ECN has a narrower spread but charges a separate commission. For gold too, compare the total of spread plus commission. Check the commission amount in the client area after you open an account.

INFINOX gold leverage is up to 1:500: how it differs from forex
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Maximum for forex (STP and ECN) | 1:1000 |
| Maximum for metals (gold) | 1:500 |
| Mechanism | Dynamic leverage. It adjusts automatically with position size |

※ Dynamic leverage means the maximum leverage falls in steps as the total trade amount rises. The official FAQ states that the maximum of 1:500 applies to small positions.
The account types page states a maximum of 1:1000. For gold, the 1:500 maximum on the metals trading page is the reference. Read 1:1000 as the forex maximum.
Required margin is the trade value divided by leverage. Check the contract size per lot in the symbol specifications on your trading platform.
