On this site's broker page, the account with a USD 6 round-turn commission is Elite (minimum deposit USD 500). The official table does not name the account, so we cannot say it is the same account.

XS gold and HMR: new positions get lower leverage around data releases and weekends
New positions opened during HMR (high margin requirement periods) need more margin than usual. Margin on existing positions does not change (official metals page).
- Economic data: from 15 minutes before the release to 5 minutes after
- Weekends: from 2 hours before the Friday market close to 1 hour after the Monday open
- Holidays: may apply to symbols whose trading hours change
| Equity (JPY) | Maximum leverage during HMR |
|---|---|
| 0 to 6,000,000 | 1:200 |
| 6,000,001 to 9,000,000 | 1:200 |
| 9,000,001 to 15,000,000 | 1:100 |
| 15,000,001 or more | 1:50 |
If you close a hedged position during HMR without enough free margin, the close can fail (official metals page). Leave some margin to spare around data releases.

| Platform | MT4 and MT5 | MT5 only |

※ *Leverage is dynamic, so it changes with equity and symbol. The official table we checked does not name the account, so gold spreads by account are not listed.
For Standard, the margin call level (warning level) is 40%. The stop out level (the margin level at which positions are closed) is 20% (official Standard account page, checked 26 September 2026).
Cent is an account with a smaller trading unit. For silver, 1 lot is 5,000 ounces on Standard and 50 ounces on Cent (official table in an existing column, checked 6 October 2026). For the Cent gold contract size, check the symbol specification on your trading screen.
- To start with no commission, choose Standard
- To try a smaller trading unit, choose Cent on MT5
- To keep the all-in spread low, look at accounts with a round-turn commission (check the official display for values by account)
Before trading gold at XS: checks and bonus conditions
- 01Check the spread in Market Watch
Show gold for your account in the MT4 or MT5 Market Watch window. By default, the chart shows prices before markup. The bid and ask gap does not always match your account's spread.
- 02Find the leverage for your equity
Use the tier table above to find the maximum leverage for your funds. Around data releases and weekends, HMR lowers leverage further.
- 03Set your lot size and margin level
1 lot is 100 ounces. Choose a lot size that leaves room before the 20% stop out level (Standard).
Gold trades count towards the withdrawal condition of the first deposit bonus (JPY 10,000 for a first deposit of JPY 20,000 or more). Within 60 days, you need a total of 5 lots or more across FX, BTC, gold and silver. Only positions held for 2 minutes or longer count (checked 19 September 2026).
