You want to know how much you must put in before HFM lets you start. The answer depends on two things: the account type and the payment method.
On HFM's official account comparison page (checked 20 October 2026), Premium, Cent, Zero and Top-Up Bonus list a minimum deposit of USD 0. Pro lists USD 100 and KATANA lists USD 500. Each payment method then has its own minimum, from JPY 750 for cards to USD 30 for crypto.
This guide gives both sets of numbers in tables, so you can pick an account and a deposit method before you register.
HFM minimum deposit 2026: USD 0 for four accounts, USD 500 at most
- Premium, Cent, Zero and Top-Up Bonus: minimum deposit of USD 0 (EUR 0 / JPY 0 where listed)
- Pro: USD 100, EUR 100 or JPY 13,000
- KATANA: USD 500, EUR 430 or JPY 80,000
- Payment methods have separate minimums: JPY 750 to JPY 1,000 for most, USD 20 to USD 30 for crypto and BINANCE PAY
- HFM states that it applies no deposit fees
A USD 0 minimum means the comparison page lists no minimum deposit for that account. To open a position you still need funds in the account to cover margin (the money held as collateral for open positions). The payment method you choose also has its own minimum.
HFM minimum deposit by account type: the full table
HFM's FAQ states that the minimum initial deposit depends on the account type you select. The comparison page lists the amount for each of the six accounts.

The official page lists a minimum trade size of 0.01 lot for all six accounts. Your own client area shows the amounts that apply to your registration.
HFM deposit methods: minimum and maximum per payment method
HFM's deposit page states that HFM applies no deposit fees. Each method sets its own minimum, maximum and processing time.

Fees charged by your own bank or payment provider are separate from HFM's statement. Ask your provider about them before you send funds.
HFM Premium and Cent minimum deposit: choosing a low-entry account
Several accounts share the same USD 0 minimum, so the minimum alone does not separate them. The other listed terms do.
- If you want a standard-size account with no commission, Premium lists spreads from 1.4 pips.
- If you want smaller trade units, Cent uses 1 lot = 1,000 units and lists JPY and USC currencies.
- If you want to compare cost including commission, Zero lists spreads from 0 pips on Forex plus commission (USD 6 round turn per standard lot in this site's checked data; confirm at registration).
- If you want the Top-Up Bonus programme, the Top-Up Bonus account lists maximum leverage of 1:1000 and applies bonus conditions.

HFM Top-Up Bonus: does a deposit change the minimum?
The Top-Up Bonus account lists a minimum deposit of USD 0. HFM's standing Top-Up Bonus adds 20% of each deposit to the account as trading bonus, up to a total of USD 5,000 (checked 1 September 2026).
- The bonus itself cannot be withdrawn; profits made with it can be withdrawn
- Withdrawing funds removes the same share of the bonus
- Only the Top-Up Bonus account (MT4 or MT5) is eligible
- The rate and cap shown in your client area take priority over this page
