You want to open an Exness account but are unsure what to enter, which documents to prepare and when you can deposit. The official help centre answers most of it, and the process has two parts: registration and verification.
Registration needs an email address and a password. Verification asks for proof of identity and proof of address, and the official help centre says checks can take up to 24 hours (checked 20 October 2026).
This guide walks through each step, lists the documents, and shows what to check before your first deposit.
Exness account opening in short: register, verify, then deposit
- Register with an email address and a password. Google sign-in is offered only in certain regions
- Verify your email and phone number, then enter your personal details exactly as on your documents
- Upload one proof of identity and one proof of address
- Check deposit methods and minimum amounts in the Personal Area, because they vary by region and payment method
- Confirm the entity shown at registration, because that entity's terms apply to you
The official help centre does not state one minimum deposit for every client. The account types page lists no minimum initial deposit for Standard Cent and Standard, and a region-based minimum for Pro, Raw Spread and Zero. The general deposit rules page says both Standard and Professional account types have region-based minimums, so confirm the amount in your Personal Area.
How to register an Exness account (exness registration)
Registering creates a Personal Area (PA), the central hub for managing your Exness account. Inside the PA you create trading accounts and change account settings. One Exness account can be used on several devices.
- 01Open the registration page
Select Create an Account. Enter your email address and create a password that meets the displayed requirements.
- 02Add a partner code if you have one
The partner code field is shown only if applicable. An invalid code clears the field, so you can try again.
- 03Confirm you are not a US citizen or resident
Tick the checkbox, then select Continue. The registration is complete and the Exness Terminal opens.
- 04Go to the Personal Area
Open the features menu in the top right bar and select Personal Area.
If an error says your email is already connected to an account, the official help centre recommends following the steps to recover a lost password.
Exness verification documents: what to prepare
Exness follows a Know Your Customer (KYC) process, a standard check that confirms who you are. The official help centre says completing it gives you full account functionality and higher deposit limits.
| Step | What the official help centre asks for |
|---|---|
| 1. Contact details | A one-time code sent to your email, and an SMS or call code for your phone number |
| 2. Personal details | Name, date of birth, address and country of residence, matching your documents exactly |
| 3. Proof of identity (POI) | Passport, national ID or driver's licence. It must be valid, clearly visible and unexpired |
| 4. Proof of address (POA) | A recent utility bill, bank statement or official government letter, with your full name and address, dated within the last six months |
- Upload clear, high-quality images. Blurry or cropped documents may lead to rejection
- Keep the spelling of your name and address identical on the form and on every document
How long Exness verification takes and what happens after
After you upload your documents, the official help centre says checking can take up to 24 hours. You then receive an email confirmation and gain full access to deposits, withdrawals and trading features.
If a document does not meet the requirements, Exness tells you what to correct. You can resubmit at any time.
Submit documents before you need to deposit. The official help centre gives 24 hours as the upper end of a normal check.
Choosing a trading account and checking deposit terms
A trading account is separate from your Exness account. The official help centre says you can create several trading accounts in the Personal Area, based on the platform (MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5) and the trading conditions you want.
| Account | Spread | Commission |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Cent | From 0.3 pips | None |
| Standard | From 0.2 pips | None |
| Pro | From 0.1 pips | None |
| Raw Spread | From 0.0 pips | Up to USD 3.50 each side per lot |
| Zero | From 0.0 pips | From USD 0.05 each side per lot |
- Check the methods, minimum amounts and currencies shown in the Personal Area before you send money
- Deposit from an account in your own name, matching your registered name
- Confirm the destination account, currency and crediting conditions before transferring

Which Exness entity applies to your account
Exness operates multiple entities that are authorised and regulated in the regions where it offers service. The official help centre says the footer of your Personal Area shows which entity your account is registered to.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Entity named on the official regulation page | Exness (SC) Ltd, a Securities Dealer registered in Seychelles, registration number 8423606-1 |
| Licence stated | Authorised by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA), licence number SD025 |
| Which entity applies to you | The entity shown at registration and in the Personal Area footer |
Read the legal documents of your own contracting entity before depositing. Another group entity's licence does not automatically apply to your account.
Exness safety check: contracting entity, regulation and what to verify
Before you deposit: a short checklist
- Entity name and licence information saved from the Personal Area footer
- Verification complete, with the confirmation email received
- Deposit method, minimum amount and currency checked on screen
- Starting amount set to money you can afford to lose
- Stop-out level understood, because the official help centre states 0%
Leveraged trading carries a high risk of loss. Confirm that deposit and withdrawal work as expected before you add more money.
