Exness account types compared: Standard, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero differences and how to choose

Exness account types from the official Help Centre: Standard Cent, Standard, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero. Spreads, commissions, minimum deposit, payment methods.

Exness has five account types: the "Standard accounts" (Standard Cent and Standard) and the "Professional accounts" (Pro, Raw Spread and Zero). Much of the Exness official site can only be viewed after logging in from Japan, so this article uses only the account type articles in the official Help Centre (updated July to October 2026, checked 8 October 2026) as its source, and compares differences in spreads, commissions, minimum first deposit, execution type, margin call and stop-out.

In short: those who want to start without a trading commission can consider Standard (from 0.2 pips; no minimum first deposit requirement), those who want to try with a small amount Standard Cent, those who want a tight spread without commission Pro (from 0.1 pips; from USD 200), and those who prefer to pay a commission for spreads from 0.0 pips Raw Spread (up to USD 3.50 per side) or Zero (from USD 0.05 per side). All accounts have a stop-out of 0%, a design in which losses can become larger than at other brokers.

In short: Exness account types differ by commission, minimum first deposit and execution type

  • Standard accounts (Standard Cent and Standard) have no trading commission and no minimum first deposit requirement (the minimum for each payment method still applies). Standard is from 0.2 pips and Cent from 0.3 pips
  • Professional accounts (Pro, Raw Spread and Zero) have a minimum first deposit from USD 200 (depends on region). Pro is from 0.1 pips with no commission, Raw Spread from 0.0 pips plus up to USD 3.50 per side per lot, and Zero from 0.0 pips plus from USD 0.05 per side per lot
  • On execution, only Pro has instant execution (and market execution can also be selected when the account currency is USD, JPY and so on). The other four accounts have market execution (no requotes)
  • Margin call is 60% for Standard and 30% for Pro, Raw Spread and Zero. Stop-out is 0% on all accounts (changed to 100% outside stock trading hours)
  • The platforms are MT4 and MT5 on all accounts. Minimum trade size is 0.01 lots, and maximum trade size is 200 lots in the daytime and 60 lots at night (GMT basis)
How the figures are treated, and a risk reminder

The figures in this article are those in the official Help Centre articles for each account (Standard Cent: updated 7 October 2026; Standard, Pro and Raw Spread: updated 24 July 2026; Zero: updated 6 October 2026; all checked 8 October 2026). Spreads are "from" minimum values and do not promise the value at the time you trade. Minimum deposits vary by region and payment method. With FX and CFD trading you may lose some or all of the funds you put in.

Standard and Standard Cent accounts: the differences between the two commission-free accounts

Standard account (from 0.2 pips; no commission; no minimum first deposit requirement)

Exness positions this as its "most accessible account type", with no trading commission, market execution (no requotes) and over 120 currency pairs and financial instruments. There is no minimum first deposit requirement for the account itself; only the minimum for the payment method or region applies. The margin call is 60%, so a warning comes earlier than on the Professional accounts (30%). Symbols carry the suffix -m.

Standard Cent account (from 0.3 pips; cent lots)

The only account traded in cent lots (1 cent lot = 100,000 cents = USD 1,000), where 1 cent lot equals 0.01 standard lots. The balance is shown in cents (for example, depositing USD 5 shows 500 USC). You can trade FX currency pairs, gold and silver (XAUUSDc, XAGUSDc) and BTCUSDc / ETHUSDc (MT5 only), and symbols carry the suffix -c. The spread is from 0.3 pips, slightly wider than Standard, and it is an account for people who want to try a method with a small amount.

Before choosing the Cent account

The Cent account has the same commission-free design as Standard, but the instruments you can trade are limited, and BTCUSDc and ETHUSDc cannot be traded on MT4. To trade stocks, stock indices or energies you need Standard or a higher account.

Pro, Raw Spread and Zero accounts: the differences between the three accounts with a minimum first deposit from USD 200

Pro account (from 0.1 pips; no commission; instant execution)

An account designed for experienced traders, with no trading commission and spreads from 0.1 pips. Execution is basically instant execution (requotes may apply), and market execution can also be selected when the account currency is USD, JPY, THB, CNY, IDR or VND. FX, commodities, stocks and stock indices use instant execution, and cryptocurrencies use market execution. The minimum first deposit is from USD 200 (depends on region), with a 30% margin call and 0% stop-out.

Raw Spread account (from 0.0 pips; up to USD 3.50 per side per lot)

An account that combines ultra-low, stable spreads with a fixed commission of up to USD 3.50 per side per lot on most financial instruments. It uses market execution (no requotes) and there is no limit on the number of positions you can open. The minimum first deposit is from USD 200 (depends on region). It suits people who want to understand trading costs as "spread plus a fixed commission".

Zero account (from 0.0 pips; from USD 0.05 per side per lot)

An account said to offer zero spreads for 95% of the day on the 30 most heavily traded instruments and 50% of the day on other instruments (varying with market volatility). The trading commission varies by financial instrument, from USD 0.05 per side per lot. It uses market execution and allows EAs (automated trading). The minimum first deposit is from USD 200 (depends on region). Because commissions differ by instrument, you need to check the commission for the instrument you trade in the official instrument list before choosing.

How to think about trading cost per lot (100,000 units) (example)
AccountSpread partCommission part (round turn)How the total works
StandardFrom 0.2 pips (about JPY 200 or more for USD/JPY)NoneSpread only
ProFrom 0.1 pips (about JPY 100 or more)NoneSpread only
Raw SpreadFrom 0.0 pipsUp to USD 7.00 (USD 3.50 per side x 2)Spread + up to USD 7.00
ZeroFrom 0.0 pipsFrom USD 0.10 (USD 0.05 per side x 2; varies by instrument)Spread + commission by instrument

※ 1 pip on USD/JPY is JPY 1,000 per lot. The table is calculated at the minimum spread, and actual spreads vary at the time you trade. Zero account commissions differ by instrument, and USD 0.05 is the minimum.

Conditions common to all accounts: leverage, 0% stop-out and MT4 / MT5

The official article for each account describes leverage as "1:unlimited", but the official Help Centre explains that the default maximum leverage is 1:2000 depending on equity, and that unlimited leverage is for experienced clients who meet conditions and is not available by default (checked on this site's broker page on 3 September 2026). The stop-out is 0% on all accounts, and positions are not force-closed until the margin level reaches 0%. Outside stock trading hours the stop-out level changes to 100%.

A 0% stop-out is a design in which losses become larger, not an advantage

The lower the stop-out level, the longer positions stay open without forced closure even as unrealised losses grow, until almost the whole account balance is lost. Combined with high leverage, a small price move can cost most of your deposit. Understand the relationship between required margin and margin level, and set your trade size within the limits of your own funds.

MT4 and MT5 can be used on all accounts. The limit on trading accounts per Personal Area is 100 each for MT4 and MT5 real and demo accounts. MT5 real accounts have unlimited maximum open volume (1,000 pending orders), and MT4 real accounts have 1,000 on Standard-type, Raw Spread and Zero accounts.
