Exness vs XM: Exness stops out at 0%, XMTrading at 20%, and XM lists a USD 5 minimum on every account. Spreads, leverage, bonuses. Checked 20 Oct 2026.

Exness and XMTrading are both well-known names, but their account designs differ a lot. Without the official figures side by side, the differences stay hidden.

The biggest gap is the stop out level. Exness lists 0% on all five accounts, and XMTrading lists 20% on all four (checked 20 October 2026). XM also lists a USD 5 minimum deposit on every account.

After reading, you can match your own priority to one of the two and know which account terms to check first.

How to read this comparison

Spreads are listed minimums, not the value you will get at the time of a trade. Each broker's own page and your client portal take priority over this article. Leveraged trading can lose some or all of your deposit.

Exness vs XM account types, spreads and commissions

Exness lists five accounts: Standard Cent, Standard, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero. XMTrading lists four: Standard, Micro, KIWAMI and Zero. The table puts the main figures side by side.

※ The XMTrading official account types page shows no commission figure, so the commission amount comes from this site's verified data. Spreads vary with the market.

A spread is the gap between the buy and sell price. A commission is a separate fee. Compare the two together, because an account with a 0 pip spread still adds its commission to the cost.

Exness vs XM leverage, margin call and stop out

A 0% stop out leaves less room for error

A 0% stop out keeps positions open until the margin level reaches 0%. Losses can grow large before anything closes. The 20% level listed by XMTrading closes positions earlier.
