MEXC deposits and withdrawals: buying with JPY, P2P, on-chain deposits, withdrawal steps and times

How to deposit on MEXC (JPY quick purchase, P2P, on-chain) and withdraw (email + Google Authenticator, status times, fees, KYC limits), per MEXC help pages.

MEXC deposits fall into four categories: JPY quick purchase (Apple Pay, Google Pay, card), third-party providers (Banxa, Alchemy Pay), P2P, and on-chain deposits. Withdrawals are made by selecting a token under Assets → Withdraw, then confirming with an email verification code and a Google Authenticator code.

This article checks MEXC's official purchase pages and help centre as of 26 September 2026, and organises the features of each deposit method, status-based withdrawal times, examples of withdrawal fees and minimums, KYC-tier withdrawal limits, and what to check if a withdrawal doesn't go through. Quoted amounts and rates fluctuate, so always follow what is shown on the actual application screen.

Conclusion: four deposit routes, plus email and Google Authenticator for withdrawals

  • Deposits: JPY quick purchase, third-party providers, P2P, and on-chain deposits
  • Withdrawals: Assets → Withdraw → select token → select method → confirm with an email code plus a Google Authenticator code
  • Withdrawal processing has status-based time estimates, generally a few minutes to about 60 minutes for review
  • Withdrawal limits differ by KYC tier (80 BTC/day for Elementary, 200 BTC/day for Advanced)

Depositing in JPY: quick purchase, third-party providers and P2P

Quick purchase: Apple Pay, Google Pay and card

MEXC's purchase page lets you select JPY for both quick purchase and third-party providers. The payment brands shown include Google Pay, Apple Pay, Mastercard, VISA and SEPA.

Different from the MEXC Card

Buying crypto with JPY through quick purchase, described here, is a different service from the MEXC Card, which lets you spend crypto you've loaded onto the card at Visa merchants. The MEXC Card's cashback and fees are covered in a separate article.

Third-party providers (Banxa, Alchemy Pay): what to note

The third-party tab lists Banxa (supporting Klarna, VISA, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay) and Alchemy Pay (supporting VISA, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and SEPA). In Banxa's example, 1 USDT was about 169 JPY, giving roughly 118.01 USDT for JPY 20,000 (a fee-inclusive figure), as checked 26 September 2026.

MEXC's official disclaimer

'You are about to leave the MEXC platform and access services provided by a third-party provider, Banxa. Please note that all services related to crypto purchases are provided exclusively by the independent third party Banxa. MEXC does not control or operate these services' (from the official notice).

P2P: zero trading fee, but check JPY listing volume

JPY is also selectable on the P2P (peer-to-peer) page, with a trading fee of 0%. The page describes '500+ payment methods,' '170+ countries and regions,' and '40 million+ users,' but at the time of checking on 26 September 2026, USDT/JPY had zero listings (no data). Listing availability varies over time, so check the screen when you use it.

Separately, the bank transfer page defaults to EUR as its currency, lists Legend Trading as the provider, and states a 0.00% trading fee. We could not confirm a JPY bank-transfer option.

On-chain deposits: matching networks, and memos/tags

  • The sending network and the receiving network must match
  • Some tokens, such as XRP, require a memo or tag
  • Deposits below the minimum amount may not be credited or refunded
  • Deposits sent via a contract may not be credited

What to check if a withdrawal doesn't go through

  • If a TxID isn't generated within 1 hour of the withdrawal request, contact customer service
  • If it stays 'processing' or similar for 6+ hours, also contact customer service
  • Some networks (HBAR, XRP, ALGO, APTOS and others) may require the receiving wallet address to be pre-activated (token activation) before a withdrawal can arrive
  • Double-check that the withdrawal address and network match, and that any required memo or tag was entered
Trading carries risk

Crypto prices and the conditions for deposits, withdrawals and transfers can change. Keep deposit, withdrawal and transfer amounts within a range you can handle even if there is an unexpected delay or a fee change.
