Forex deposit bonus comparison (September 2026): caps and withdrawal rules

Forex deposit bonuses compared for September 2026: HFM, Vantage, XS, Axi, Monaxa and INFINOX rates, caps, eligible accounts and withdrawal rules.

A forex deposit bonus adds trading credit on top of the amount you deposit. As of 4 September 2026, FX Textbook lists eight deposit bonuses from six brokers—HFM, Vantage Trading, XS, Axi, Monaxa and INFINOX—with rates ranging from 20% to 120%.

The headline rate is the easiest number to misjudge. This article lists each bonus's rate, cap, eligible account and deadline, then explains the conditions that matter more than the rate: what happens to the bonus when you withdraw, and which account you must use.

Based on each broker's official pages and terms as checked by FX Textbook. The rate and cap that actually apply are shown in the broker's client portal.

The highest rates are Vantage Trading's 120% and HFM's limited-time 100%, but both are capped: Vantage applies 120% only up to USD 500 (20% above that) and HFM caps the bonus at JPY 45,000. HFM's standing 20% and Monaxa's 30% have much larger cumulative caps of USD 5,000–6,000, so larger depositors can receive more in total.

Three conditions to check before the bonus rate

1. Is the bonus limited to a dedicated account?

Many bonuses are only paid into a dedicated account: HFM's Top-Up Bonus account, Monaxa's Lifetime Bonus or Welcome Bonus account, and XS's first-deposit Standard account. These accounts can have different trading conditions from the regular accounts—HFM's Top-Up Bonus account has a maximum leverage of 1:1000, and Monaxa's bonus accounts use a 30% stop-out level and dynamic leverage capped at 1:500.

2. What happens to the bonus when you withdraw?

None of the listed bonuses can be withdrawn. In addition, most brokers remove bonus in proportion to withdrawals: HFM deducts the same percentage as the withdrawal, Monaxa deducts in proportion to equity, and Axi cancels the entire credit if you withdraw before the promotion ends. XS removes the whole credit if you withdraw before completing the trading requirement (5 lots within 60 days).

3. Deadlines and expiry

Limited-time bonuses end on a set date: HFM's 100% on 17 September, Axi's on 1 October (credit removed on 1 October UTC) and INFINOX's on 31 December. Standing bonuses also expire: HFM closes bonus accounts with no deposits, withdrawals or trades for 60 days, XS credit is valid for 60 days, and Monaxa may cancel bonus a month after it is credited or after a period of inactivity.

A worked example

Deposit JPY 45,000 under HFM's 100% bonus and you can trade with JPY 90,000 of margin. Withdraw half of your balance and half of the bonus (JPY 22,500) is removed. Treat the bonus as extra margin, not as withdrawable funds.

Key points by broker

HFM: the 100% and the standing 20% do not apply to the same deposit

The 100% bonus (until 17 September) applies to the first deposit into a Top-Up Bonus account during the period. Later deposits receive the standing 20% (USD 5,000 cumulative cap), and a single deposit never receives both. Deposits made before account verification is complete are not eligible for the 100%.

Vantage Trading: the rate depends on deposit count and days since approval

A first deposit within 7 days of live-account approval receives 120%; from day 8 it receives 100%, in both cases up to USD 500. The second deposit receives 50% (up to USD 1,000) and later deposits 20%, up to USD 20,000 in total. Withdrawals up to realised profit are not deducted; withdrawals beyond profit, after losses, or from untraded accounts are deducted proportionally.

XS: a fixed JPY 10,000, withdrawable after 5 lots

A first deposit of JPY 20,000 or more receives a one-time JPY 10,000 credit. Close 5 lots in total on forex, BTC, gold or silver within 60 days to meet the withdrawal condition. It can be combined with the JPY 5,000 welcome bonus paid on identity verification.

Axi: apply the promo code first

Apply JP25Axi in the client portal, then make a first deposit of USD 125 or more and place at least one trade during the period to receive 25% (up to USD 500). Deposits made before applying the code are not eligible, and withdrawing or transferring internally before the promotion ends cancels the credit. Residents of Japan only, one entry per person.

Monaxa: 30% up to USD 6,000; no VPS or scalping

Every deposit into a Lifetime Bonus account receives 30% until cumulative deposits reach USD 20,000 (USD 6,000 bonus). Trading via VPS is prohibited on bonus accounts, and scalping or high-frequency trading can lead to bonus cancellation, so consider a regular account if you plan to run an EA.

INFINOX: application required; profit withdrawal rules not specified

Apply through the client portal; once a deposit of USD 50 or more is approved, 20% is credited. The terms do not specify withdrawal conditions for profits made with the credit, so check INFINOX's latest guidance before withdrawing.

How to choose a deposit bonus by objective

  • Adding margin to a small deposit: HFM 100% (until 17 September, JPY 45,000 cap), Vantage 120% (up to USD 500) or XS's fixed JPY 10,000
  • Depositing larger amounts in stages: bonuses with large cumulative caps such as HFM 20% (USD 5,000), Monaxa 30% (USD 6,000) or INFINOX 20% (USD 20,000)
  • Planning to withdraw soon: every broker deducts or cancels bonus on withdrawal, so do not rely on it
  • Running an EA or scalping: check the dedicated account's rules first—Monaxa prohibits VPS on bonus accounts and HFM's Top-Up Bonus account caps leverage at 1:1000
Bonus and loss risk

Bonus counts as margin, so the same deposit supports larger positions. That also means larger swings in profit and loss. Size positions on your own funds, not on the bonus.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Can a forex deposit bonus be withdrawn?

A. No. None of the listed bonuses can be withdrawn. Profits made with the bonus can usually be withdrawn, but the bonus is typically removed or cancelled in proportion to the withdrawal.

Q. Which forex deposit bonus has the highest rate in September 2026?

A. Vantage Trading's 120% first-deposit bonus (KYC within 7 days, up to USD 500) and HFM's limited-time 100% (until 17 September, up to JPY 45,000). By cumulative cap, Monaxa's 30% (USD 6,000) or INFINOX's 20% (USD 20,000) can pay more in total.

Q. What do I need to do to receive a deposit bonus?

A. Complete identity verification in every case. HFM, Monaxa and XS also require a deposit into a dedicated account, Axi requires a promo code, and INFINOX requires an application in the client portal.

Q. Can I receive deposit bonuses from several brokers at once?

A. Yes, as long as you meet each broker's conditions. Within one broker, a single deposit does not receive two bonuses (for example HFM's 100% and 20%), and Axi and INFINOX do not allow combination with other promotions.
