Forex no-deposit bonus comparison (September 2026): brokers and conditions

No-deposit forex bonuses for September 2026: XS JPY 5,000, Vantage up to USD 100 and HFM Bonus Hunter, with eligibility, profit withdrawal rules and expiry.

A forex no-deposit bonus (welcome or registration bonus) is trading credit paid simply for opening an account and completing identity verification. It lets you trade on live markets without your own funds, but the bonus itself cannot be withdrawn and profit withdrawals carry conditions such as minimum trading volume.

As of 4 September 2026, FX Textbook lists three no-deposit offers: XS's JPY 5,000, Vantage Trading's up to USD 100 (JPY 15,000) and HFM's Bonus Hunter (JPY 45,000 in trading funds). This article compares eligibility, profit withdrawal conditions and expiry using official information.

The three offers work differently. XS and Vantage let you trade the credit and withdraw profit once conditions are met. HFM's Bonus Hunter converts profit made with the trading funds into a further bonus (a 100% deposit bonus on a Top-Up Bonus account); whether the JPY 45,000 itself can be withdrawn must be confirmed in HFM's official FAQ and terms.

How to claim a no-deposit bonus, step by step

  1. 01
    Open an eligible account

XS: an MT5 JPY account created automatically after verification. Vantage: Standard (USD/JPY), ECN or Copy Trading accounts. Vantage's Premium and BTC/ETH accounts are not eligible.

  2. 02
    Complete identity verification (KYC)

Submit ID, proof of address and, for Vantage, a selfie. Vantage pays USD 100 if KYC is completed within 7 days of live-account approval and USD 70 from day 8.

  3. 03
Check whether an application is needed

XS credits automatically. Vantage requires an application in the client portal (once per person). HFM credits automatically when you open a Bonus Hunter account in the client area.

  4. 04
    Confirm the credit before trading

Vantage's terms state 24 hours after KYC while its promotion page says 48 hours, so check the latest notice on the application screen.

Compare the conditions for withdrawing profit

Profit withdrawal rules are where these offers differ most. XS requires 5 lots on the same account, and the credit is removed entirely when you withdraw profit or move funds to another account. Vantage requires 3 standard lots without a deposit and caps withdrawable profit at USD 70 (JPY 10,000); with a deposit, one completed trade lifts the cap.

Check what counts as trading volume too: XS counts only positions held for 2 minutes or more, and Vantage requires each trade to be held for at least 5 minutes. Trades closed quickly do not count.

What 5 lots means

If one lot is 100,000 units, 5 lots is 500,000 units—50 trades of 0.1 lot or 500 trades of 0.01 lot. If you rely on the credit alone, plan position sizes so you can reach the requirement before losses consume the credit.

Cautions for forex no-deposit bonuses

  • The bonus itself cannot be withdrawn; only profit that meets the conditions can
  • Fund transfers or withdrawals can cancel the credit (XS removes it entirely on profit withdrawal or transfer)
  • Expiry applies: XS 60 days from credit, Vantage 30 days without trading, HFM 30 days for account opening and 30 days for the transfer
  • Copy trading and automated functions may not count (Vantage counts only manual trades on Copy Trading accounts)
  • Hedging, churning and multiple accounts are treated as breaches and can void the offer
Small-deposit bonuses also exist

Monaxa's welcome bonus (USD 50 on a USD 25 first deposit) and XS's first-deposit bonus (JPY 10,000 on JPY 20,000 or more) require a deposit but only a small one. If a no-deposit offer is not essential, see the deposit bonus comparison column as well.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Are forex no-deposit bonuses really free of any deposit?

A. XS's JPY 5,000, Vantage Trading's USD 100 and HFM's JPY 45,000 Bonus Hunter trading funds are credited without a deposit after account opening and verification (HFM: opening a Bonus Hunter account). The bonus itself cannot be withdrawn, and profit withdrawals carry conditions such as trading volume.

Q. How much profit can I withdraw from a no-deposit bonus?

A. XS: profit is withdrawable after 5 lots (the credit is removed on withdrawal). Vantage: without a deposit, up to USD 70 (JPY 10,000) after 3 standard lots. HFM Bonus Hunter converts profit into a 100% deposit bonus on a Top-Up Bonus account; check the official terms for whether the trading funds can be withdrawn.

Q. Can I combine a no-deposit bonus with a deposit bonus?

A. XS allows the JPY 5,000 welcome bonus and the JPY 10,000 first-deposit bonus together. Vantage's registration and deposit bonuses share eligible accounts but have separate terms. Conditions differ by broker, so check the official terms before claiming.
