Can't log in to Axi, and unsure whether to enter your email or your account number?
There are three ways in, and each uses different details. The client portal and the Axi app share the same login. MT4/MT5 use an account number, password and server (official help, checked 17 October 2026).
After reading, you will know the steps for each entry point and the order to check when you can't get in.
Conclusion: Axi has three logins, and each uses different details
- The client portal is at my.axi.com/login. The Axi app uses the same login details
- MT4/MT5 need three items: account number (login), password and server
- Do not enter your email address on the MT4/MT5 screen. Enter your account number
- The portal password and the MT4 master password are the same (official explanation)
- If you can't get in, check the number, the password and the server, in that order
How to log in to the Axi client portal
The login page is my.axi.com/login. You sign in with the email address and password you registered with.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Login page | my.axi.com/login |
| Details you enter | The email address and password from registration. If you registered with Google, Apple or Facebook, sign in the same way |
| Relationship to the Axi app | The same login details work in the app |
| What you can do in the portal | View your account list, check the server name and login ID, and request an MT4/MT5 password change |
| Beware of a different screen | clientportal.axi.com is a separate format that takes a trading account number and password. If unsure, use my.axi.com |

Axi MT4 login steps: account number, password and server
Logging in to MT4 on a PC uses your account number (login), not your email. MT5 follows the same steps (official help, checked 17 October 2026).
- 01Open the "File" menu
From the "File" menu, choose "Login to Trade Account". You can also right-click "Accounts" in the Navigator.
- 02Enter your account number and password
Type your account number (login) and password. The password is case-sensitive.
- 03Select the server
Choose the server for your own account. See the table below for how to find its name.
- 04Click "OK"
Once connected, the connection status appears at the bottom right of the screen.
| Item | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Account number (login) | The email sent after account opening, or the account screen in the client portal |
| Password | The one you created at account opening. You can also reset it from the portal |
| Server | Click the "Trade" button on the account in the portal to see the server name and login ID |
Official help only says to select the correct server. It does not publish a list of server names. This site does not guess either. Always check what the portal shows.
What to check when you can't log in to Axi MT5
If you see "Invalid account" or "Authorization failed", official help narrows the cause to three things. Your account number, password or server is wrong. The fix is the same for MT4 and MT5.
- 01Check the account number
Compare the number you typed with the account list in the portal. Also check that you have not entered an MT4 account number into MT5.
- 02Check the password
Look for leading or trailing spaces, Caps Lock and the keyboard layout. If you have forgotten it, reset it from the portal.
- 03Search for the server again
On a PC, go to "File" > "Open an Account", click the green +, enter the server name after "Axi - " and scan. On a phone, tap + in account management in settings and search for "Axi".
- 04Check the connection status
On a PC, look at the bottom right. On a phone, check that the account shows as connected.
- 05Match the account to the platform
An MT4 account cannot log in to MT5. The reverse is also true.
- 06Contact support
If you still can't log in after checking everything, contact support.
Axi password reset: the portal and MT4 share one password
Official help says the client portal password and the MT4 master password are the same. Setting them separately is described as "currently unavailable". Changing one changes the other.
| Method | Steps |
|---|---|
| Portal reset page | Enter your MT4 login number and the on-screen characters (Captcha), then click "Next". A new PIN is sent to your registered mobile phone or email |
| axi.com page | Click "Reset Password" at the bottom of any page and choose "Reset your MT4 password". You need your MT4 login and registered email |
| Change after logging in to the portal | From "More" (three dots) on the account, choose "Change password" and enter a new password |
| Change inside MT4 (PC) | Tools > Options > Server > Change. Enter the current password, then set a new one |
Whether the MT5 password matches the portal password is not stated in official help. The investor password, which is view-only, can be changed only in PC versions of MT4/MT5.
If you can't log in to Axi or the reset email does not arrive
Official help lists typing errors, Caps Lock, and browser cache or cookies as reasons a password fails. It also gives guidance for when the reset email does not arrive.
- Check for spaces before or after the password. Recheck Caps Lock and the keyboard layout
- Clear the browser cache and cookies. Try another browser or device as well
- Check your spam folder. Also remove any block on @axi.com
- The reset email goes only to the email address registered with Axi
- If you registered with Google, Apple or Facebook, you have no Axi password. Manage it with that provider
- Wait a few minutes, then request the reset email again
- If it is still unresolved, contact support with your account number and registered email
How to log in to the Axi app and which accounts it supports
The Axi app (Axi Trading Platform) uses the same login details as the client portal. It is a separate platform from MT4/MT5.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Login details | The same as the client portal |
| If you registered with Google or Apple | Log in the same way. You do not need to enter an email and password |
| If you forgot your password | Enter your email under "Forgot Password?" on the login screen and reset it from the email you receive |
| If you want to change your password | "MyAxi" > "Profile" > "Change Password". Follow the instructions in the email you receive |
| Relationship to MT4/MT5 accounts | Official help says a separate registration is required |
| Supported accounts | Standard account only (this site's broker page and information from an Axi representative). Also check what the portal shows before use |

Frequently asked questions
Q. Do I log in to Axi with my email or my account number?
A. It depends on the entry point. The client portal and the Axi app use the login details tied to your registered email address. MT4/MT5 take your account number (login), password and server, not your email (official help, checked 17 October 2026).
Q. What should I do if I can't log in to Axi MT5?
A. Check your account number, password and server, in that order. Official help says an error in one of these three is the main cause. Also check that you have not entered an MT4 account number into MT5, and contact support if it is still unresolved.
Q. Where can I find the Axi MT4 server name?
A. In the client portal, click the "Trade" button on the account to see the server name and login ID. A list of server names is not stated in official help. This site does not post one based on guesses.
Q. How do I reset my Axi password if I forgot it?
A. On the portal reset page, enter your MT4 login number and the Captcha. A new PIN is sent to your registered mobile phone or email. You can also start from "Reset Password" at the bottom of axi.com. The portal and MT4 share the same password.
Q. What if I can't log in to the Axi app?
A. Check that you are entering the same login details as the portal. If you registered with Google or Apple, log in the same way. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder and then contact support.
