XS Account Types Compared 2026: Standard, Cent, Micro, Pro, Elite and VIP

XS account types on the official pages: spread, commission, minimum deposit, MT4/MT5 and stop-out for Standard, Cent, Micro, Pro, Elite and VIP.

How many account types does XS have, and which one should you open? The names you see in searches, such as micro or vip, may also be out of date.

On XS's official Japanese pages (checked 2 November 2026), the retail accounts are Standard and Cent, and the professional accounts are Pro, Elite and VIP. Micro is missing from the Japanese list and appears only in the official help centre.

Three questions narrow the field: do you need MT4, how do you price commission, and do you want a bonus?

Short answer: the XS account types and which to check

Table comparing spread, commission, minimum deposit and platform for six XS account types
  • Retail: Standard and Cent. No minimum deposit, and both appear in the Japanese list
  • Professional: Pro and Elite (USD 500 minimum) and VIP (USD 100,000)
  • Partner: Classic and Extra. Ask your partner about extra terms
  • Micro: in the help centre and on its own page, but not in the Japanese list
  • The account type cannot be changed after opening; you open a new account instead

The margin call level is 40% on every account that lists it. Maximum leverage is also 1:2000, with dynamic leverage applied. The VIP page has no rows for these two items.

Where this differs from our broker page

Our broker page (checked 2 August 2026) shows leverage for Cent, Pro, Elite and VIP as to be confirmed on the official page, and stop-out as to be confirmed per account. The values in this article come from XS's own account pages (checked 2 November 2026).

The Micro account exists. One micro lot is 1,000, the minimum lot is 0.1, it is MT5 only, and there is no demo account.

It is not in the Japanese account list, though. We could not confirm from the official pages whether residents of Japan can pick it when opening an account.

The smallest order is 1,000 units on Standard (100,000 x 0.01) and 100 units on Micro (1,000 x 0.1). This calculation is ours.

XS presents Cent as an account for small-size trading; its lot size is 100,000 USC and its base currency is the cent (USC).

No demo on Cent or Micro

Neither account has a demo. To get used to MT5, you can practise on a Standard MT5 demo.

  • Need MT4: Standard is the only one of the three
  • Want an even smaller order: MT5 Micro (note it is not in the Japanese list)
  • Want to try a cent-denominated account: MT5 Cent
  • Want a demo account: Standard (Cent and Micro have none)

Pro, Elite and VIP: costs including commission

XS official account types page with the Pro account card under the professional tab
Source: XS official website (captured 2 November 2026)

Pro has no commission and averages 0.7 pips. Elite averages 0.1 pips plus a USD 6 round-turn commission. For 1 lot of EURUSD, both average USD 7.

Table of average cost per 1 lot of EURUSD for Standard, Pro, Elite and VIP
How we calculated it

For 1 lot (100,000 units) of EURUSD, 1 pip is USD 10. Pro is 0.7 x 10 = USD 7 and Elite is 0.1 x 10 + 6 = USD 7. This uses average spreads and is not an actual execution cost.

Choosing between Pro and Elite

  • To skip the commission sum: Pro, which has none
  • To see a small spread figure on screen: Elite at 0.1 average (commission is charged separately)
  • Both need USD 500. Different types are separate accounts, so you can open both and compare

VIP account terms

VIP needs USD 100,000, is MT5 only and has no demo account. Commission is described only as customisable. Spread and commission combine differently on each instrument, so check the total for yours in the official contract specifications.

You can open the First Deposit Bonus account after the Welcome 5000 bonus has been converted or has expired. XS states both are for residents of Japan who hold Japanese nationality.

Points where people trip up (from XS's conditions)

  • Positions closed within 2 minutes do not count toward the 5 lots
  • Withdrawing or transferring funds before the conversion condition is met forfeits the whole bonus
  • Only the balance can leave the Welcome 5000 account, and moving it removes the credit
  • You cannot open the First Deposit Bonus account while Welcome 5000 bonus remains

Applying for swap-free

To switch, you start by contacting your account manager or customer support. Each asset class has its own grace period.

How to check it on the official screen: reading the spec table

Annotated screenshot of XS's Cent account leverage and margin table with four numbered items

The numbers live in each account's own page. The cards in the list show only spread and commission.

  1. 01
Pick a tab in the account types list

    Open retail, professional or partner.

  2. 02
    Open the details page

The account specification table lists minimum deposit, base currency and minimum lot.

  3. 03
Read the leverage and margin table

Check maximum leverage, margin call and stop-out.

  4. 04
Read two-column tables column by column

On some accounts only MT5 adds futures, shares and no order cap.

Reading the numbers

Cent's stop-out is 10% and Standard's is 20%. Even with the same 1:2000, the margin level at which forced closing starts differs by account.
