You want to scalp at an offshore forex broker, but some brokers ban it or add conditions, and it is unclear where to look.
The answer is that no law bans scalping and each broker's terms decide. AXIORY's official FAQ says there is no limit on the number of trades, while Monaxa targets trades closed within 120 seconds that exceed 10% of all trades.
We checked the official documents of the eight brokers we list on 4 November 2026. By the end you will know which part of the terms to read before you open an account.
Conclusion: scalping rules depend on each broker's terms

- AXIORY: scalping allowed in the official FAQ, no trade-count limit
- Monaxa: trades closed within 120 seconds over 10% can be adjusted
- XS: contract warranty and public pages, covered in the XS section
- Axi: the client agreement does not contain the word scalping
- Vantage: ECN and Premium are described for scalpers
- HFM, Exness, DecodeFX: no statement on scalping found
| Broker | What the official documents say | Hold-time number |
|---|---|---|
| AXIORY | Allowed; no limit on trade count (official FAQ) | None |
| Monaxa | May void or adjust trades if those closed within 120 seconds exceed 10% (terms) | 120 seconds |
| XS | Client warranty in the contract (English); public pages state no rule | Not stated |
| Axi | No mention of scalping; price manipulation banned (client agreement) | Not stated |
| Vantage | ECN and Premium described for scalpers (help center) | Not found |
| HFM | Nothing in the FAQ or help; terms PDF not read | Not found |
| Exness | No scalping article in help; stop level can be unavailable for some high-frequency use | Not found |
| DecodeFX | No statement on scalping on the site; EA support is stated | Not found |
Brokers differ on three points: trade count, hold time and trades that exploit price lag. Among those we could check, only Monaxa gives a hold-time number.
Forex and CFDs are leveraged and you can lose all or part of your deposit. This article lists what the terms say. It does not guarantee any result.
Why scalping rules exist and where the line is drawn

Scalping means buying and selling repeatedly over seconds or minutes. Monaxa's terms give the stability of its platforms and products as the reason for its limit.
| Type of trading | How the terms treat it (examples) |
|---|---|
| Short trades themselves | No count limit (AXIORY). Adjustable if trades closed within 120 seconds exceed 10% (Monaxa) |
| Too many orders (EAs) | Under 10,000 messages a day as a guide (Monaxa). EA may be disabled by excess requests (Exness) |
| Exploiting price lag | Prohibited; cancel, close, fee (XS 7.27). Banned as price manipulation (Axi) |
Short trades and price-lag trades are written as separate things. XS's contract puts the first in a client warranty (33.1(r)) and the second in a prohibition clause (7.27).

AXIORY: the official FAQ says scalping is allowed, no limit

The official FAQ answer is that scalping is possible and the number of trades is not limited (checked 4 November 2026).
| Item | What the official FAQ says |
|---|---|
| Scalping | Possible |
| Trade-count limit | None set |
| Hedging | Allowed within one account; required margin returns if one side is stopped out |
| Stop-out | 20% margin level on MT4 and MT5 (Max and Zero accounts differ) |
| Our broker page | "Allowed (no trade-count limit)" matches |
The accounts built for scalping are Nano and Terra, with a $6 round-turn commission. The official cost example for USD/JPY is 0.2 pips on both.
AXIORY account types and spreads: Nano and Terra commissions
Monaxa: trades closed within 120 seconds over 10% are targeted

Section 9.11 of Monaxa's Terms of Business defines scalping and high-frequency trading with numbers.
| Item | What the terms say |
|---|---|
| Definition | Trades opened and closed within 120 seconds make up over 10% of all trades |
| Measured over | 15 minutes around major news, daily, weekly, monthly and all-time |
| Broker's rights | Void or adjust trades, adjust the account, restrict further scalping (without notice) |
| EAs | May need approval; latency arbitrage EAs are prohibited |
| EA guide | Under 10,000 messages to the server per day |
Read literally, 11 of 100 trades closed within 120 seconds is over 10%. 10 of 100 is exactly 10% and does not exceed it.
Our broker page notes that the official site describes the Zero account for scalping and EAs (checked 2 September 2026). The terms state their conditions without reference to account type.
Our broker page shows "allowed*". Because the terms contain the conditions above, use is conditional (checked 4 November 2026).
XS and Axi: read the contract wording on scalping rules

Clause 33.1(r) of XS's Client Services Agreement (English, XS Ltd) is a client warranty. The client will not trade for the purpose of arbitrage, scalping or exploiting small price errors.
Another clause (7.27) bans trades that rely on price latency, including through EAs. Violations can lead to cancelled trades, account termination and a fee of 5% of deposited funds (maximum $200).
The contracting party in this document is XS Ltd. Check the contracting entity and documents that apply to Japanese clients in the papers you receive when you open an account.
We also checked XS's public pages: 169 trading and account help articles in the Japanese help center, plus the account type pages. We found no statement on whether scalping is allowed (4 November 2026).

Axi's client agreement (AxiTrader LLC, effective 7 July 2026, English) does not contain the word scalping. It prohibits price manipulation, including latency abuse.
| Item | XS | Axi |
|---|---|---|
| The word "scalping" | Yes (client warranty) | No |
| Hold-time number | Not stated | Not stated |
| Exploiting price lag | Banned (7.27); cancel, close, fee | Banned as price manipulation |
Our broker page shows XS as "allowed*". The contract has the 33.1(r) clause and the public pages state no rule. Confirm which contract documents apply to you when you open an account (checked 4 November 2026).
What we could confirm at Vantage, HFM, Exness and DecodeFX

For these four, we could not find an official document that states whether scalping is allowed (4 November 2026).
| Broker | What we confirmed | What we could not read |
|---|---|---|
| Vantage | Help center (updated 10 April 2026) describes ECN for scalpers and day traders, and Premium for scalping traders | Trading terms not found in the site footer |
| HFM | No scalping line under the trading-strategy item of the official FAQ | Terms of Business (February 2026 PDF) could not be fetched |
| Exness | No scalping article among 247 help articles. The stop-level article (updated 22 September) says some high-frequency or EA users may not get it | Client agreement could not be fetched |
| DecodeFX | Account type and platform pages mention EA support | Terms not found |
Exness also says an overly aggressive EA can overload the terminal with excess requests and be disabled (updated 16 September).
HFM refused the terms PDF and part of Vantage's help center showed a bot check. We did not bypass either.
Our broker pages show HFM, DecodeFX and Vantage as "allowed*" and Exness as "check the terms". Confirm the rule in each contract before you open an account.
Scalping on bonus accounts: how XS and Monaxa differ

Bonus accounts can carry stricter conditions than regular accounts. How short trades are treated is set in each offer's terms.
| Broker | How short trades are treated |
|---|---|
| XS | Only positions held 2 minutes or more count toward volume. Volume traded with the bonus and hedges are excluded (checked 19 September 2026) |
| Monaxa | In the terms we checked on 2 September 2026, scalping and high-frequency trading could be voided |
XS's 2 minutes and Monaxa's 120 seconds are the same length. At XS, trades under 2 minutes do not count toward volume; at Monaxa, trades within 120 seconds count toward the 10% figure.
Monaxa's current bonus FAQ says that breaking the conditions can lead to the bonus and profits being cancelled (checked 4 November 2026). The offer's terms govern each condition.

Scalping costs including commission at 0.0 pip accounts

On EUR/USD, 1 pip is $10 per lot. A $6 round-turn commission equals 0.6 pips.
At $6 round turn, trading 1 lot 20 times a day costs $120 a day in commission alone. The more trades, the more commission matters.
At the same 20 trades of 1 lot a day, Axi Elite ($3.5 round turn) costs $70 a day and Monaxa Zero ($7) costs $140. The gap is $70 a day.
| Account | Listed spread | Round-turn fee (1 lot) |
|---|---|---|
| Axi Elite | From 0.0 pips | $3.5 (first deposit $25,000) |
| Axi Premium | From 0.0 pips | $4.5 (first deposit $500) |
| HFM Zero | From 0 pips | $6 (FX) |
| Vantage ECN | From 0.0 pips | $6 (¥900 on yen accounts) |
| AXIORY Nano | 0.2 pips USD/JPY (official cost example) | $6 |
| XS Elite | Average 0.1 pips | $6 |
| Monaxa Zero | From 0.0 pips | $7 ($3.50 per side) |
| DecodeFX PRO | From 0.0 pips | $7 (per standard lot) |
| Exness Raw Spread | From 0.0 pips | Up to $7 (up to $3.50 per side) |
| Exness Zero | From 0.0 pips | From $0.1 (from $0.05 per side) |
Listed values are minimums or averages, not the spread you will get at fill. A low commission and the first-deposit requirement are separate. DecodeFX's official account page lists PRO at $5 round turn; the table uses the setting through our site ($7).
How to avoid a frozen account, and our view

- Before opening an account, open the contract PDF (Client Agreement or Terms of Business)
- Search for "scalp", "high frequency" and "latency"
- If there is a hold time or count, count it in your own trade history
- Read the bonus and promotion terms separately
- Set EAs to limit the number of orders and modifications
- Ask support in writing and save the reply
| Broker | Document | Clauses to read |

| Monaxa | Terms of Business | 9.10 and 9.11 |
| AXIORY | Official FAQ | The Trading questions |

| Axi | Suspend or close accounts, cancel or amend trades, halt deposits and withdrawals, set off balances (3.6) |
| XS | For price-lag trades: cancel trades, terminate the account, charge 5% of deposited funds (maximum $200). For abusive behaviour: cancel profits and block the account |
| Monaxa | Void or adjust trades, adjust the account, restrict further scalping (without notice) |
Axi's clause says the actions can extend to your other accounts, including those at other Axi Group entities.

If you want no count limit, compare accounts against AXIORY's official FAQ answer. If you use Monaxa, count whether trades closed within 120 seconds stay under 10%. For XS and Axi, read the relevant contract clauses. For HFM, Exness, DecodeFX and Vantage, ask support in writing before you open an account.
Frequently asked questions
Q. Is scalping banned at offshore forex brokers?
A. No law bans it; each broker's terms decide. AXIORY's official FAQ says scalping is possible with no trade-count limit, and Monaxa can adjust trades if those closed within 120 seconds exceed 10% (checked 4 November 2026).
Q. What is the minimum holding time for scalping?
A. Among those we could check, only Monaxa gives a number: 120 seconds. XS counts only positions held 2 minutes or more toward bonus volume. We could not confirm one for the others.
Q. Can I scalp on a bonus account?
A. It depends on each offer's terms. Monaxa's bonus terms, as we checked on 2 September 2026, allowed scalping to be voided. XS does not count trades under 2 minutes toward volume.
Q. What leads to a frozen account or cancelled profits?
A. The terms name trades that exploit price lag, price manipulation and sending too many orders. For trades that exploit price lag, XS sets cancelled trades, account termination and a fee of 5% of deposited funds (maximum $200).
Q. Can I scalp with an EA?
A. Monaxa says EAs may need approval and gives under 10,000 messages a day as a guide. Exness says an overly aggressive EA can be disabled.
Q. How much does scalping cost including commission?
A. On EUR/USD, 1 pip is $10 per lot, so a $6 round-turn commission is 0.6 pips. Trading 1 lot 20 times a day costs $120 a day in commission alone.
Q. Why does this differ from your broker pages?
A. "Allowed*" on our broker pages means conditions apply. The XS contract clause and Monaxa's 120-second definition came out of our 4 November 2026 check. We found no scalping rule on XS's public pages. Follow the terms where they differ.
